#RugbyRecycles

We are pleased to welcome to our Advisory Board, Laice Varnumfrom Gainesville who joind our Advisory Board as the Sustainability Programme Manager for TRF.

Laice is a current player and match official who studied Sustainable Agriculture at the University of Sheffield in the UK and gained her Bachelors at University of Florida.

Over the summer of 2022, Laice will be working on creating the Mission Statement, Objectives and Grant Writing to support our Sustainability Programme.

One of our key priorities is for all Rugby Events to ban single use plastics, but before we are able to educate all of our participants, we should aim to recycle wherever we can.

Throughout the summer of 2022 we are encouraging all players and match officials to bring their own water bottle to events and to refil them as required.
